Streams & Workflow Automation
Streams Notifications Configuration & Administration
Configure IFS Streams so users receive in-application and mobile notifications for business events such as approvals, print job completion and record changes. Covers enabling stream-generating events, routing notifications to IFS Cloud Web and the IFS Notify Me app, adding email fallback, and administering retention/cleanup of stream items.
Workflow Design & Deployment (BPMN / Camunda)
Design low-code BPMN workflows in the IFS Cloud Workflow Designer and deploy them to the embedded Camunda engine to automate or enrich business transactions without customization. Covers workflow types (User Interaction, Process Enrichment), modeling with BPMN tasks/gateways/script tasks and IFS delegates, deployment with a process key, and trigger wiring.
Event-Driven Automation (Custom Events & Event Actions)
Configure application-defined and custom events with event actions to react automatically to business data changes in IFS Cloud. Action types include E-Mail, Execute Online SQL, Application Message, Task, Start Workflow and Streams Message, making events the glue between data changes, notifications and workflow automation.
Scheduled Database Tasks & Background Jobs Administration
Set up and operate recurring batch processing in IFS Cloud: database tasks define the PL/SQL package.method to run, scheduled database tasks (and task chains) add the execution plan, and executions are submitted as background jobs into batch queues managed by Transaction_SYS. Includes queue configuration, monitoring and failure handling.
Everything you can see here is real and current, the names, the structure and the counts come straight out of the ModelIFS library and change as it grows. What sits behind the license is the worked-out content itself: the execution steps, the data each one needs, the configuration decisions, the KPIs, the integration points, the workshop questions and the diagrams. That is the part you would otherwise spend a program building from nothing.
