Supplier Invoice & Payment
Register / Enter Supplier Invoice
First registration and entry of a supplier (AP) invoice into IFS Cloud, including arrival entry / preliminary posting and manual entry of cost postings on the Manual Supplier Invoice page, connecting the invoice to purchase orders where relevant.
PO Invoice Matching (Three-Way Match)
Matching supplier invoices against purchase order receipts to create final cost postings automatically, at header, delivery-receipt or line level, preventing double payment and controlling for quantity/price differences within tolerance (three-way match: PO, receipt, invoice).
Invoice Authorization / Approval Routing
Authorizing supplier invoices for payment in IFS Cloud, via a separate Authorize Invoices for Payment function tied to authorizer user IDs, or automatically at final posting / when posted, controlling internal segregation of duties before an invoice becomes payable.
Supplier Payment Processing
Paying authorized supplier invoices in IFS Cloud through payment proposals and payment orders (automatic payment on file, checks, bills of exchange) or manual mixed payments, including cash discounts, offsets, credit invoices and AP/AR netting.
Counterfeit Part Prevention & Supply Chain Provenance
IFS Cloud has genuinely useful primitives here: Purchase Part quality requirements - Quality System Level with ranking, Qualified Manufacturer Required and Qualified Supplier Required - are evaluated against the supplier when a purchase requisition, purchase order or change order is released, and an unqualified supplier forces manual authorisation; Part Manufacturer records the manufacturer separately from the supplier; and serial and lot tracking with persistent ownership gives item-level provenance through receipt, build and repair. IFS does not implement counterfeit-avoidance as a regulated programme: there is no authorised-distributor register, no test-report or authentication-result object, no interface to any industry counterfeit alert exchange, and no suspect-part quarantine and reporting workflow beyond generic non-conformance handling.
Subcontractor Invoice Validation & Self-Billing
Controls what an HVAC business actually pays its subcontractors. Covers confirmation and authorisation of payment lines against the agreement and not-to-exceed limits, purchase order creation including batch and charge-period modes, periodic self-billing invoice plans, the sub contract valuation and payment certificate route for construction-style packages, matching of the subcontractor invoice, and transfer of the resulting transactions to finance.
Everything you can see here is real and current, the names, the structure and the counts come straight out of the ModelIFS library and change as it grows. What sits behind the license is the worked-out content itself: the execution steps, the data each one needs, the configuration decisions, the KPIs, the integration points, the workshop questions and the diagrams. That is the part you would otherwise spend a program building from nothing.
