Customer Order Entry

Capture and release customer orders in IFS Customer Order, entering an order header (customer, wanted delivery date) and order lines (parts, quantities, delivery data), with the order type governing which downstream steps run automatically versus manually.

Sales Pricing & Discounts

Maintain and apply sales prices and discounts through IFS Pricing using sales part base prices, sales price lists, customer agreements and campaigns, with a defined priority ladder that determines the price and discount fetched onto each customer order line.

Order Fulfillment & Delivery

Fulfill released customer orders through the IFS Shipment process: reserve, create and report pick lists, pack into handling unit structures, complete and deliver the shipment (optionally via consolidated shipment), then close and optionally delivery-confirm prior to invoicing, with the shipment type controlling automation.

Service Parts Order Capture & Fulfilment

Captures aftermarket parts demand from dealers, end customers, self service portals and internal field service, and fulfils it through IFS Cloud Customer Orders, Inventory and Shipment. Order type configuration decides which steps run automatically and whether emergency lines get priority reservation at order entry, while reservation management links order or shipment lines to physical stock before pick and delivery. The process ends with delivery confirmation and invoicing, or with a controlled backorder and alternative sourcing decision when stock is short.

Sales Order & Trade-In Processing

Converts a won machine deal into a released Customer Order in IFS Cloud and settles the trade-in leg of the transaction. Release drives the credit check and creates the supply demands in Purchasing and Manufacturing, while the incoming trade-in unit is taken in against the customer acting as a supplier so its serial identity and acquisition cost land in used-equipment stock. Reservation, shortage resolution, order confirmation and any staged or milestone billing complete the order before delivery.

Parts Counter Sales & Back-Orders

Sells and issues spare parts to trade and retail customers and to the workshop, identifying the correct part from the machine build, checking availability across branches, and fulfilling from stock or by back-order on the OEM. Parts availability at the point of repair is the primary driver of workshop turnaround, so counter and workshop demand must see the same stock picture in IFS Cloud. Back-order management, emergency machine-down orders, cores and returns are handled as first-class parts of the process rather than exceptions.

What a license opens

Everything you can see here is real and current, the names, the structure and the counts come straight out of the ModelIFS library and change as it grows. What sits behind the license is the worked-out content itself: the execution steps, the data each one needs, the configuration decisions, the KPIs, the integration points, the workshop questions and the diagrams. That is the part you would otherwise spend a program building from nothing.
