Mapping & Geospatial
Geospatial Map Configuration & Integration
Configures IFS Cloud's GIS Map so business objects (equipment objects, work orders, linear assets, customers) are presented as graphical items on an Esri ArcGIS-backed map, and enables geocoding (HERE Maps) to convert addresses into stored map positions. Establishes the connection layer, object dialogs, and navigation between IFS pages and the map.
Technician Location Tracking & Route Optimisation
Uses the Dispatch Console map and IFS Planning & Scheduling Optimization (PSO) to visualise resource current location, view routes, and generate travel-optimised schedules. PSO leverages TomTom road/traffic data and Automated Intelligent Travel Profiles to minimise travel time and distance for field technicians.
Customer Site & Asset Mapping
Establishes locations and visit addresses for customer sites so that map positions are geocoded and inherited by connected assets and work. In IFS Cloud, the map position retrieved for a Visit Address is inherited by connected Equipment Objects, Work Orders, Work Tasks, Service Requests and Requests, positioning service work at the customer site.
Everything you can see here is real and current, the names, the structure and the counts come straight out of the ModelIFS library and change as it grows. What sits behind the license is the worked-out content itself: the execution steps, the data each one needs, the configuration decisions, the KPIs, the integration points, the workshop questions and the diagrams. That is the part you would otherwise spend a program building from nothing.
